Lange & Fetter’s 3rd Annual Car Show Follow-Up
It’s no secret that here at Lange & Fetter, we love to give back to our beloved community of Trenton and Quinte Bay. For the last three years, every summer, we’ve been so proud to bring folks from the community together for a fun-filled day of vintage rides, good music, sweet prizes, and tasty food for our 3rd Annual Car Show Fundraiser! With over 65 vintage Fords, a successful turnout and raising upwards of $5,000 for Hospice Quinte, we’d say this was our biggest car show yet!
Today on the blog, we’re sharing a few highlights and favourite moments from our past event this month – and dreaming about when we can do it all again next year!
Vintage Fords: A Trip Through History
Ford and car enthusiasts from all over Trenton came down to the Lange & Fetter lot to geek out on over 65 vintage and unique Fords. From extremely vintage (think 1920s and 1930s - nearly 100 years old!) to iconic 1960s to modern-day monster trucks and beyond, we were treated to some unique Ford vehicles that were the talk of the evening. Folks also got the opportunity to cast their vote for their favourite vintage Ford finds before drawing our winners.
A special congratulations to our "Best in Show" winners, Fred and Arlene Carr, who had a beautiful 1956 Meteor Rideau Sunliner and our "People's Choice winner, Scott Thompson, with his 1966 Mustang Fastback GT!
Local Partners Coming Together
Grandview Pastures was on site, treating attendees to mouthwatering BBQ hamburgers during the event. In case you didn’t know, Grandview is a local, family-owned and operated farm with a mission towards sustainability, regenerative farming practices, and supplying Southern Ontario with nutritious (and delicious) animal food products. After all, there is nothing quite like checking out vintage and custom cars with a juicy burger in hand! To complement the atmosphere even further, we had sounds by Trenton’s very own The Freeloaders, who supplied us with some great tunes throughout the event! We also have to thank and shout out Smylie's Your Independent Grocer for donating all the ice cream sandwiches and popsicles, Dewmill Events for the BBQ and rentals, and Canadian Tire Trenton for helping with our raffle!
We Raised Over $5000 for Hospice Quinte!
The Lange & Fetter Ford Car Show was free for all participants and attendees, but we asked that folks consider making a donation to our fundraiser for Hospice Quinte. Folks opened both their hearts and wallets to provide a total charitable donation of over $5,000! Well done, Trenton! Holding a special place in our hearts, Hospice Quinte has been changing the lives of the terminally ill, their families, and the bereaved for the better by providing compassionate care and support to individuals, their families, and caregivers since 1985. We’re so proud to be able to bring the community together in support of such an amazing cause!

More than anything, the Lange & Fetter Ford Car Show & Fundraiser was an opportunity for us to connect with our fellow community members. We laughed, talked, enjoyed food together, and looked under the hoods of some pretty cool cars. The entire team here at Lange & Fetter is proud to be a part of the Trenton and Quinte West community, and we would like to thank all of our participants and sponsors for helping to make our car show so spectacular. We can’t wait to see you all next year!
